Every two months, the gallery transforms to showcase the latest works from new artists across various media, with gallery events celebrating their arrival and providing invaluable exposure for artists of the Sunshine Coast and neighbouring regions. This bustling space serves as a hub for art and homeware enthusiasts, offering them an opportunity to meet the makers and discover unique, locally crafted works that cater to their individual tastes, styles, and needs.

Food is more than just sustenance—it’s memory, culture, and connection. Feast is a vibrant, multi-genre exhibition that explores our deep relationship with food, from the joy of shared meals to the rituals and traditions that bring people together.

Showcasing painting, mixed media, artisan work, and more, Feast serves up a delicious mix of artistic interpretations—sumptuous still life, playful takes on feasting and indulgence, and reflections on the ways food shapes our identities and communities.

As the final exhibition of the year, running until Christmas, Feast is a fitting tribute to the season of gathering, gratitude, and celebration. Whether it stirs nostalgia, hunger, or a sense of festivity, this exhibition invites you to indulge in the rich connections between food, art, and life.

Still Life Workshop: "Beyond the Bowl of Fruit: Techniques and Trade Secrets."

Still-life is often misunderstood as a dry and pedestrian genre, but it holds endless potential for creativity. This workshop will show you just how captivating still-life can be and reveal the creative alchemy of acrylic paint in the process.

Known for her openness and generosity in sharing her vast knowledge, Helen is dedicated to equipping you with the tools to bring ease and confidence to your art practice. She doesn't hold back on artistic trade secrets!

During the workshop, Helen will demystify key aspects of painting still life, composition, value, colour, and technique. She’ll guide you through selecting a subject and designing a dynamic composition, all the way to creating a finished piece. You’ll also explore the diverse techniques Helen employs to create your own expressive still life.

You can expect to work on at least one still-life painting from start to finish, with plenty of opportunities for hands-on learning. Helen will offer practical demos, pro strategies, and personal mentoring to help you develop your unique approach to still life.
