My work explores the intricate patterns that shape my experiences and stories as I journey through life. These patterns act as maps or companions, subtly shifting and evolving as I navigate the realms of past and present, the known and unknown. Lines, both tangible and emotional, serve as my reference points—a delicate web of control and spontaneity reflecting life's complexities. Each mark I make is raw and vulnerable, capturing the essence of my continual search for moments of stillness within the ever-changing bumps of existence. cription text goes here

Krystal Bradford is a contemporary artist based in Brisbane, known for her abstract paintings. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Art and a Bachelor of Secondary Education.
In the early stages of her career, Krystal showcased her work in various emerging artist exhibitions and galleries throughout Brisbane. This exposure sparked her interest in contemporary sculpture and textiles, though her practice has consistently been grounded in traditional drawing and painting.
Recently, Krystal has rekindled her passion for painting and colour exploration. Her abstract pieces explore the interplay of pattern and surface, often mapping memories and landscapes. She frequently examines reoccurring patterns in nature and relationships through symbolic mark-making, creating familiarity for her audience. Her recent work also reflects experiences with anxiety, power and stillness.
