Sunshine on a Plate

Finding quiet significance in the rhythms of everyday life, Keanna-Belle Sacilotto creates contemporary Australian still life paintings that celebrate home, family and the enduring beauty found in ordinary moments. Her intimate oil paintings transform familiar objects into thoughtful studies of light, colour and emotion, inviting viewers to slow down and appreciate the poetry of the everyday. A self taught artist based in Queensland, Keanna-Belle draws constant inspiration from the life she has created as a devoted mother and homemaker. Flowers gathered to bring beauty into her home, fruit shared around the family table and treasured everyday objects become the foundation of her artistic practice, reflecting a life where creativity and home are deeply intertwined. Driven by a passion for continual growth, Keanna-Belle approaches each painting as both a technical challenge and a quiet act of reflection. Working in oils, she is dedicated to refining her craft through careful observation, exploring the subtle relationships between light, colour and form to create realism that feels soft, luminous and deeply human. Her restrained compositions and gentle use of negative space allow every subject to breathe, revealing the quiet elegance within life's simplest moments. This distinctive balance of warmth, sensitivity and technical discipline defines her emerging artistic voice, creating original still life paintings that resonate with collectors seeking authenticity, beauty and a sense of calm.
