Carried by the Sun

Honouring the rich cultural traditions of her Palawa ancestry, Domica Hill creates contemporary Aboriginal artworks that celebrate storytelling, identity and connection to Country. Through vibrant colour, symbolic forms and a fresh contemporary aesthetic, she creates original paintings that respectfully draw on cultural narratives while bringing a distinctive modern perspective to Australian art. Domica's work seamlessly bridges cultural storytelling with contemporary design, combining meaningful symbolism with sophisticated colour palettes inspired by today's interiors. This unique approach allows her paintings to resonate with a broad audience of collectors and designers, while remaining deeply connected to family, ancestry and the stories that shape her identity. Each artwork offers a contemporary interpretation that is both visually striking and rich in meaning. An established Australian artist, Domica's original artworks are held in private collections across the country and have led to collaborations with leading Australian homewares and lifestyle brands.
