Different works. A considered connection.

There is no single formula for choosing art that works together.

We look for the quieter connections between works: a shared colour, a repeated shape, a contrast in scale, a similar energy or simply the way one piece allows another to breathe.

Here, expressive contemporary colour sits alongside abstract movement and recognisable Australian coastal imagery. From the depth and texture of the larger blue painting to the intricate detail of the turtle study and the graphic simplicity of the boat, each work brings something different to the collection. They aren’t trying to match. Instead, they complement one another through their individual character and the relationships between them.

The larger works establish the visual direction, while the smaller piece introduces a change of scale and a moment of detail. Blues, sandy neutrals and natural timber tones carry through the space, creating a sense of connection without making everything feel overly coordinated.

The one off timber lamp by Victor and Wills adds another layer to the composition. Its sculptural form and warm timber finish complement the artworks and furnishings, showing how considered design pieces can sit alongside art to create a space that feels complete.
